All of my characters are on level 99, i can NOT for the life of me beat up that red dragon, he basically kills me within 10 turns, even when i waste a mega- phoenix on them. does anyone have any strategies to beat him?

and the red dragon? you don't need to fight it. I'm not sure if anyone has defeated it since it has a high strenght. I advise you that u should avoid it

It can be defeated, but you really should avoid it. After floor 80 they'll be in Random battles, that be escaped from. Try not to run into him before then.

How to Avoid Red Dragons & Mega-Tonberries:

Save yourself time by always checking to the left or behind you when you first enter a new floor.

Red Dragons:

When the Red Dragon is in the middle of the floor, head to the left and jump on the raised stone to activate two jumping stones over the dragon.

When he's jumping out of the wall, wait for him to jump back in then run, sometimes he'll be in two places on one floor, just wait for him again.

If you have Cat Nip, (which you get for defeating the Black Element at 40), equip it in case of emergency and remember who has it. If you end up having to fight one of these things, get that girl yellow, then have her use gems to do 9999 damage. (Just don't use fire gems against the red dragon - you'd heal it.)

Also you'll start running into Mega-Tonberrys, really - really difficult to live through. Avoid whenever possible.

Mega Tonberries:

If your on the floor where he's in the section the to the right, stay as far to the left as you can and walk right past him.

If your on the floor where he's in the middle thing and you had to jump backwards, Then after the little tonberry fight the wall behind you raises and the lift disappears. CAREFULLY walk up that wall, and jump to the step against the wall. If you miss or jump to far you'll have to fight it, if not then you won't. You'll be able to go to the next floor by going to the left after climbing back over the wall.

If your on the floor where you had to walk up a narrow path and it looks like he's waiting there for you, wait for him to turn around and then continue on, avoiding him. (You'll be turning to the left.) At the end of this floor there are 3 tonberries, the Mega in the middle and the two little one's on each end. Fight the little tonberries on the end and then the Mega-Tonberry in the middle one will be gone, giving you the exit to the next floor.

If your on the floor where all you see are Tonberrys, step lightly -(around them)! If you run into one, you will have to fight it AND the Mega-Tonberry, You need to step on the raised stones at the edges and find the one that will give you the exit to the next floor.


Be sure to have Cat Nip equiped at ALL TIMES in case of an accident.

well if you want say bye bye to the The end garment grid or you need mascot with all abbilities make sure you got auto shel and auto protect abbility then encounter the elder drake make sure you have high deffence here state of elder drake
45000 hp 50000(oversoul)
auto protect
and mega tonberry
43000 hp 53000(oversoul)
auto shell
well about hp not sure they may be a little more but is about same as i said so here have mascot yuna and other dark knight so you attack with darkness and use yuna curaja and lifeja(when necessery) oh dont forget you need lot of mp for yuna
elder drake (or the red dragon) its attack is about 5000 to 6000 damage but with auto protect and high defence comes to 1500 to 3000 and mega tonberry well kinda danger its attack is worser than elder drake cuz is cost about 10000 damage so you dont need to worry yuna mascot and auto protect it will be easy ah you need mega tonberry over soul in order to get cry in the night blue bullet for gun mage yup thats right but do once at a time and you need kill 16 tonberry in order to get tonberry or mega tonbery over soul and in the 81 to 99 you have to kill tonberry and megatonberry in order to pass the cloister so careful and the strongest no but badest of all monster is him trema he got 999999hp haha but low mp 999 so wipe out eh ok thats enough bye now :devil:

not tryin to blow my own horn bu ive killed both of them red D's and tonberries. i used cat nip. plus the tonberries on some floors u have to kill.

The little one's yes, and the Mega-Tonberry can be defeated, but it takes tons of Mega-Phoenix and lots of LUCK to defeat the big ones!

The Mega-Tonberry CAN be avoided. That's what it says in my post, I've been on all floors, and learned the hard way. <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
