The annual Cannes Film Festival is currently underway. One of the most anticipated films premiering at the fest is Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon". In the 1920s, the Osage Nation was the richest Indigenous group in the US due to oil revenue. This wealth attracted parasites and con artists who attempted to fleece the Osage in myriad ways. It is an astounding story and from the trailer, it looks like Scorsese has made greed the major theme of the film.
