"Dunkirk" director, and photochemical film advocate, Christopher Nolan will be presenting a new 70mm print of "2001: A Space Odyssey" at the Cannes Film Festival. Cannes is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stanley Kubrick's masterwork. The screening takes place on May 12th with Nolan and members of Kubrick's family in attendance. Nolan also plans to present a masterclass in which he will talk about Kubrick's influence on his own career. Look for the 70mm version of "2001" in US theaters beginning May 18th.
