What I will do today is join the women's (but "all genders welcome") march in London.
"We will march, wherever we march, for the protection of our fundamental rights and for the safeguarding of freedoms threatened by recent political events. We unite and stand together for the dignity and equality of all peoples, for the safety and health of our planet and for the strength of our vibrant and diverse communities."
It's for especially the young women AND young men who have to live with the world that's being created now. It's also that I exercise my freedom and think of the women and girls around the world who cannot do this.
A lot of talk about the marches as beingagainst the POTUS. But I see it in terms of what it stands for. It's only against the new president if he is against these principles.
Thus endeth the sermon. Time to get dressed and try to remember where Grosvenor Square is.
