Today was the church picnic so I went to Mass last evening. I had purchased my meal ticket in advance and so I was able to get my meal a little earlier than others. The food is prepared with a Spanish flair. The macaaroni salad has herbs I don't usually use. There was rice, chopped lettuce and cucumbers, and a rubbed grilled chicken. Others ordered steak sandwiches. They also served papusas. The music was rockin and rollin and there were lots of games going on. Kids were playing some soccer too. It is a beautiful day for a picnic.
