More Advice for Working out Outdoors

It’s been a long winter and it’s time to get outdoors and feel the sun on your body. During the winter months we often spend our workout time indoors, at the gym or in our homes. This makes it easy to fall into a fitness rut.

Exercising outside is a great opportunity to change up your workout and burn more calories. Varying the terrain in your walks and runs tests your body as it adapts to different movement patterns. This combined with your body’s acclamation to the weather can cause you to increase your calorie burn by five-seven percent.
