Border Doctor Gunned Down in Nogales Sonora This was my mother's doctor who had been treating her for pulmonary fibrosis for 6 years before she transferred to a doctor here in AZ. She is pretty disturbed by this. I didn't know this doctor only that he gave my mother the best care any doctor ever has.
The violence in border towns is appalling and you should really think twice about visiting border towns in AZ and TX. People think it's safe to go there but it really isn't. I have not been to this border town since my son's tonsilectomy in 2005. Went to Rocky Point (AZ's closest beach and popular spring break destination) in 2007 and would not visit again. I had a relative who was the chief of police in that town a while ago and he said to stay away.
