Very interesting thought process, Dave. I am with you on this. If one had a "safe hole" to go to and wait out a catastrophe, what would they do when they came out and all that they knew was gone, including available food and other necessary items and the people they once knew?

I take one day at a time and hold dear what is within me. For me, survival is my spirituality and the love I share with family and friends -- those are what stay with me even if I were to die standing up to any danger. What I hold dear will go on with my spirit.
