I have had to ultrasounds results as follows nodule in the right lower pole anteriorly. Nodule is well circumscribed with a hypoechoic halo. Measures 1.2X 0.9 s 1.1 cm. multipleother smaller nodules are seen bilaterally. Thyroid measures right lobe 4.8 x 1.7 x 1.6 cmn left lobe 4.7 x 1.5 1.4 cm and isthmus 4.0 mm. doctor is not recommending I do anything about this can anyone explain what all this means?
