Here's my attempt at an answer, hope I don't confuse anyone! (especially myself)

1 cob of corn is approximately 1/2 cup
1 can of corn has approximately 1 & :rolleyes: 3/4 cups
So, asking for 8 cobs is APPROXIMATELY 3 cans of corn.
