I marked the fourth option - but, I would prefer it said:
"When it is my time I will accept it with peace" - for when it is my time to walk on, I will look forward to entering Heaven and the land of my ancestors.

Walk in Peace and Harmony.

Hi Lynne, it's interesting that in some cultures you regularly visit the place where you want to be buried as part of preparing yourself for that next stage of your 'existence'. (JOY)

Not sure I look forward to it because it's such an unknown and I'll miss all the ones I love here, but I'm sure once there and am in the presence of God I'll view the entire experience differently. Strangely, I've often thought of birth the same way. Our souls were with God before being in our earthly body. I imagine the birth process being terribly traumatic the same as death to us, but once we reach our destination the past is forgotten. Perhaps if we could remember our souls with God death wouldn't seem like a loss, rather a gain.

Click here for my article on the subject of death and the reason I look forward to it when I have completed my time here on this earth.

Thanks Phyllis. Your thoughts are very similar to mine.
I look forward to it with relief as I wrote about it in the article - Fascination With Death

Thank you Granny. This is probably why we are born kicking and screaming. smile

I have a feeling that I won't miss my loved ones that I leave behind because time is different in heaven. A thousand years is like a day to God. Before we know it, all our loved ones will be there with us.

Thank you Joy. That is an interesting concept. Obviously in those cultures they aren't as frightened of the experience as some in our culture are.

Lynne, what an interesting and thoughtful topic. Thank you.

Time in Heaven is very different than what we know here. A lifetime for us is but a fleeting moment for God and those in His Heaven. You are so right about that.

Thank you, again, for making us think and share thoughts about our destination.

Just think! There will be no computer problems in Heaven. Now I look forward to that! computer

I look forward to it, because I will be going home to my Lord and Saviour.
