A reader emailed me not long ago asking for help combining her name, Brenda, with that of her boyfriend Jonathan.

Any ideas?

She didn't tell me what gender name she was looking for, so any name you think up (boy or girl) would be appreciated.

Here are a few names I came up with:

Abraham (same rhythm as Jonathan, BR of Brenda)
Beth (B from Brenda, TH from Jonathan)
Brooklyn (BR from Brenda, N-ending from Jonathan)
Bryson (BR from Brenda, N-ending of Jonathan)
Dorothea (D and A-ending of Brenda, TH of Jonathan)
Gwendolyn (same rhythm as Jonathan, first syllable is similar to Brenda)
Landon (ND of Brenda, N-ending of Jonathan)
Theodore (TH of Jonathan, D of Brenda)

How about Brejona? I have never heard that name before, but, it sounds pretty for a girl.

Jonbrea is the only combo that I think sounds nice.
