Hi all!

A reader has contacted me about combining two names into a single baby name. Here are the names:

Name #1: Douglas
Name #2: Yvannie

What would you suggest? (The reader didn't give me the gender of the baby, so suggestions for boys or girls are welcome.)

Vaughn is one name that came to mind, for me. It has the V and N of Yvannie, and the U and G of Douglas. So there's one name to start us off.

And a few more ideas:

Gavin
Dannie/Danny
Sandie/Sandy
Glynnis

Ohh, those are two tough ones. They both contain fairly uncommon sequences. 'Oug' is pretty unique to Douglas and 'Yva' is pretty rare too. Here's a few perhaps more obscure combinations.

Dayven, Dannie, Dannielle, Abdennour, Megann, Sullyvan, Abdoulaye.
