Like 'em, love 'em, or hate 'em -- energy supplements are here to stay. I think they have a valid place in your pack. Read about my thoughts in my latest article, Energy Bars and then vote for your favourite of the following three bars (a small sample of the zillions out there to choose!): PowerBar, Clif Bar, Perfect 10.

Cheers,
M.

You know, I have recently surmised that Luna bars are not agreeing with my stomach, which is unfortunate because I love them! I have tried a few other bars recently, and not had the same effect. Any thoughts on the ingredient that may be specific to Luna Bars? They basically give me a cramp an hour or two after eating.

Hi Jessica,

I think there are 14 or 15 different varieties of Luna Bars now, each with its own particular set of ingredients. Is there one flavour you were choosing all the time?

I'd try reading the fine print of ingredients to see if there's something in the Luna bars that is different or in higher concentration (based on order of list of ingredients - most first on list, least last) than the new bars.

Which new bars are you trying?

Cheers,
Megan
