When your kids make you crazy, do you ever plan a way out? My daughter and I have a couple games we can play to help us reconnect and exit the conflict. Take a look at my article, and share some strategies of your own!

I love the way you handle those situations with humour. Such a good idea - I'm sure it will build a good communication base for her teen years.

My cousin just smacks her daughter for the slightest reason, usually while the little girl thinks she's being cute or funny (ie, other people are laughing and smiling at her), but she suddenly gets punished. I feel so sorry for her. I can just see that my cousin is turning into my mother.

When I'm having a busy or stressful day, my children will sometimes resort to misbehaving to get attention. But sometimes, unlike the examples in Nicki's article, the problem is mainly mine. crazy

So instead of snapping, I need to direct my attention to ENJOYING my kids. I've written up some ideas for activities to try when I am starting to get stressed out and need to get things headed in a more positive direction for all of us! grin
