Everyone is always looking for reviews of allergy medications from real people rather than drug companies. Help our other forum members by posting the name of the allergy medication you take and positive and/or negative comments about it.

I've been taking Zyrtec (the generic version) along with Fluticasone (the generic Fluonase) and find that the two combined control my allergies. Zyrtec by itself was not sufficient.

I've taken Allergra, Zyrtec, Flonase, sudafed and Benadryl, all since March of this year i even spent over 14.00 for a all natural nasal spray, Nothing clears up my nasal congestion. The only time i get relief is when im on prednisone. if any one knows a safer way to get uncongested please let me know

I'm sorry you haven't been able to find any allergy relief. I also wish I hadn't stirred you toward wasting $14 on the all-natural nasal spray. I am hoping that someone else out there has some suggestions that will help.

I imagine you've already tried a Neti pot or saline nasal wash. Have you checked into seeing if something you are eating could be making your allergies worse? Some people find their allergies get better when they are purist about not eating certain foods.

I would like to suggest Allegra and Singulair as good allergy medications. They handle all kinds of allergies and subdue the triggers so that your not getting bad attacks to begin with. Generics are available Allegra, but I'm not sure for Singulair.

This is not an immeditate cure; but I did an intrview with a gentleman named Thomas Ogren one time called "Safe Sex in the Garden" - nd it is about planting the appropriate amount of make and femilae plants in a garden so there is no too much pollen around.

I have been taking Singulair 10mg for 4 years now and get no relief from it, I forgot to add that one to my list above.

I don't take medicatons anymore and my allergies have gotten better naturally. I follow an anti-inflammatory diet, use sinus irrigation with saline and eat lots of fruits and veggies.

I used to suffer more from allergies when I was taking medications for them.

I honestly think you can make your allergies lots better with diet, even if you can't completely cure them. Of course, some allergies are even related to the food we eat, for instance if you're allergic to wheat. Some food allergies can act like hay fever.
