If anyone is wondering why Regal lost "A Win or Be Fired Match" to Mr. Kennedy, its because he has been fired as GM from Raw and suspended for 60 days for violating the Wellness policy. Who will take over? I don't know but Teddy Long did make a guest appearance on the last Raw and he did quit his job as Smackdown Assistant GM. Also, Ted DiBiase was there in a meeting with McMahon as well.

Wrestling News Week of May 26-31, 2008

Raw emanated from Denver, Colorado, this past Monday night Memorial Day. There was no news about a new GM but Ted DiBiase introduced his son, Ted Jr. and he challenged the tag team champs in Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes. What's interesting about that is that he didn't have a partner with him and didn't mention one either.

There were two dark matches,(matches not seen on television), One involved Ron "The Truth" Killings now in the WWE from TNA and the other dark match was DX against Orton and Umaga.

Gregory "Don't Call me Hurricane" Helms is facing misdemeanor assault charges for his role in an altercation at a bar with an acquaintance of his on May 6.

Hogan Knows Best...Brooke, that is. VH1 has given the go ahead for Brooke Hogan Knows Best which will be a reality show following her music career.

Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship wrestling show is slated for this fall on CMT. You can read about the story here:

In WWE News - Jimmy Wang Yang was suspended for violating the wellness policy. His first suspension is for thirty days.

ROH's Bryan Danielson wrestled a dark match on the June 9th edition of RAW. He wrestled Lance Cade and won the match. He also had the okay from ROH to do this.

In TNA News, in a radio interview, Jeff Jarrett did not deny a comment about the Ultimate Warrior coming to TNA. He just said that Sting said, "It would be unique if the Warrior came here and something happened between us."

Say it ain't so.

Ratings for Raw did mot improve much this week for the Million Dollar giveaway like Vince was hoping would happen.

There hasn't been too much happening by way of breaking news lately but I will give you what I have.

For those of you who do not know yet Trevor Murdoch and Ashley Massaro have been released from the WWE. No explanation was given and the WWE wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

The Ultimate Warrior returned to the ring after ten years to defeat Orlando Jordan the Nu Wrestling Evolution Heavyweight championship only to subsequently give it up so a tournament can decide a new champion. Why would he do this unless he was entertaining offers from the WWE or TNA? The WWE will have their 25th Wrestlemania show next year and Sting did mention something to TNA that it would be unique if the Warrior came to TNA and did something with or against Sting.

From Newsday.com - The old ECW icon, The Sandman was arrested last week during Captain Lou Albano's 75th birthday party. He began throwing glasses and bottles around the back of a restaurant, after the owner of the restaurant nailed Sandman in the face with a bottle from about three feet away. The WWE was not very happy that the Warrior decided to go to the Marriot in Nassau on the day of the Great American Bash, right across the street from the event to sign autographs. The WWE sent him a letter to get him to stop but the Warrior signed autographs for about 200 people anyway, snubbing the letter from the WWE.

Hmm..doesn't look like they will work things out for the Warrior to appear at WM25 after all. I know there are plenty of fans out there who were hoping that he would be there at WM25 but I believe there is too much love lost between the Warrior and the WWE and this latest incident proves that.
