I sure agree that it's the attitude and act of kindness that uplifts the giver, regardless of the reaction of the recipient.

Lisa, good article. I believe for whatever reason many people will not be thankful for help. It is a shame and I wish that it was not the case but human nature is many times more focused on intake than output. Bella fortunately has some very genuine souls on it and those are the kinds of people that are so needed in a culture that primarily is focused on self gain alone. Some of the moderators on here have taken some lumps and bumps to assist others and many times with no thanks. Fortunately there are those on here that are extremely grateful for the assistance. I ,for one, view Bella as a place of refuge. Thank you!
