My eldest kid may have lost her good winter gloves and hat. This would make it impossible to be outside long where we live. I may put replacements in her Xmas stocking.
In the past, I have gotten my kids new sleds and snowboards for Christmas. Something called a snostick was popular a few years ago - it was a fairly affordable cross between a skateboard and snowboard that didn't require special boots, knee pads, etc. I haven't purchased one, has anyone here tried them?
