Rather than play out entirely in character the plans for scene 2, to save some time let's do it player to player. We'll assume that all the characters find reasons to act more or less as a group in investigating the events from scene 1. They each have motivations, private or public, for doing so.

One possible Scene 2 would be heading to the mainland, as part of an eventual effort to free those still held captive by the goblins. Another possible scene 2 would be further investigations in Artesia City. Or you all might have something else in mind entirely.

We can assume that any preparations your characters want to make for the next scene can be done, and any in-character actions you want to take privately can be done via PM with me.

Let's see if you all can't come to a consensus about where to go next.

Well i am in favor of making the "heroic" discussion and then head to the woods, with any preparations made of course.

I for one would like to go and pray, then take my belongings and move with the party towards our..destiny.

I'm so sorry Derissa's been... non-existent. I'll try to be more active in Scene 2... hopefully life's calmed by then...

Derissa has a private objective and an unfortunate situation that requires her to help...well, I guess she could let the party wander off on their own, track them and steal their treasure, but what fun's that? So, she'll go with the party as long as it's toward fighting and accomplishing her goal.

They can always go back to Artesia... >.>

It sounds like there's a consensus toward moving off of Artesia and onto the mainland, trying to find the goblins, rescue their prisoners, and achieve whatever personal objectives everyone has.

We'll assume that Kam from the tavern joins the group, unless Cindy says otherwise.

There are still characters from the character intro thread who haven't entered into a scene yet. If that's you, just post a reply here saying that you want to be included at the start of scene 2, and we'll rationalize some reason for your character to be included with the group. Otherwise, we can come up with some reason for your character to catch up to the rest of them later, when you're ready.

I'll plan on starting scene 2 early next week, after we've had a chance to hear from other players. In the meantime, if there's something special your character would do as preparation for traveling to the wild mainland, either post it here or as a PM, depending on whether it's secret or not.
