"Sneakers" is being developed into a television series at NBC. The 1992 drama/thriller starred Robert Redford as a hacker with a social conscience. The series is being co-produced by Walter Parkes, who co-wrote the original film. Dan Ackroyd, Sidney Poitier, Ben Kingsley, River Phoenix, David Strathairn, and Mary McDonnell were Redford's co-stars in "Sneakers", which is worth a look if you missed the original release.
