Warren Beatty has just finished shooting his as yet untitled film about Howard Hughes. Beatty is the screenwriter, director and lead actor in the film. His co-stars include wife Annette Bening, Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick. The film is set to be released sometime in 2015 and the plot centers around Hughes' affair with a younger woman. This will be Beatty's first feature film in 14 yrs. Beatty turns 78 on March 30th of this year.

Update: Fox and New Regency just announced that they will be releasing Beatty's long delayed Howard Hughes film in the fall of this year. Beatty was in Las Vegas today as part of CinemaCon, the movie theater owner's annual convention, and the announcement was made there. The title of the film is still unknown.

Update: According to IMDb, the title of Warren Beatty's film is "Rules Don't Apply". The release date is listed as November 11th, 2016. There is also a picture of Beatty in character as Howard Hughes.

Update: "Rules Don't Apply" will have its world premiere on November 10th. The first film from Warren Beatty in 15 years has been chosen to open the American Film Institute's 30th annual AFI Fest in Los Angeles. "Rules Don't Apply" will then debut in theaters nationwide on November 23rd (this is a different release date than I reported in an earlier post). The premiere will take place at the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly known as Graumann's). AFI Fest will announce its full schedule in October.
