If you want to go up, you can have other flowers or related designs on your thigh and just have a vine or something that goes over your knee so it's not a hole, it's a connector. I think the feet would be cooler! Although, as Rae and others have said, the foot area can be one of the most painful tattoo areas. But it really depends on your pain tolerance.
