Only people with limited interactions with animals, especially companion animals, believe that they don't have emotions. Anybody who has spent a lot of time with animals knows that they experience genuine emotions. They experience them through the lens that they see the world.
Read the excellent articles on this site. Go to the Mexico site and read about Les Shulman's interactions with a local burro. Visit the Bird site or Exotic Animals site. There are many stories there that show the emotions of animals.
