Fifty Shades of Grey is a publishing sensation and wines mentioned in it are getting attention from fans who want to eat and drink as well as read.

In this article I looks the at wines and food featured in the book and propose candidates where the author has not named the exact wine.

Great article, Peter.

I prefer Pinot Grigio and Chianti, although I do drink more white than red when I do have a glass of wine on a rare occasion.

Many thanks, Debbie

I work out that Pinot Grigio is mentioned just twice in the trilogy but the couple do drink many unidentified 'white wines'

Chianti doesn't appear at all...but red wines make few appearences.

In Fifty Shades Darker the couple's wine choice widens with Australian, California and South Africa being poured. And this time some wines are named...
