Hello! I have a quick question. I recently started working and think it's time to invest in some decent make-up. Which brands or products would you recommend? I am also interested in getting decent make-up at a good price. Advice is appreciated!!

does ur skin break out alot? azia i think thats how its spelled, is usually got a price tag of 2.95 on it, but dollar stores carry it. i have to wear hypoallergenic stuff, and thses r good products. we have a dollar tree in the next town that sometimes will get covergirl or revlon stuff in it. r u lookin 4 a particular look or r u into the natural appearance more? i experimented for the past 8 yrs. also what color eyes and hair color do u have, if u dont mind me asking? ive seen ppl that try to out do it, u know?
Hi tiflynn! Thanks for the advice. My skin is pretty dry so it doesn't break out often. My eyes are brown...I'm looking for neutral colors but also some new colors to spice things up a bit

how about something white? a slight white around ur bottomw of ur eyelids but smudged? what kind of job r u working at? pale blue may work if u dont put it on too heavy. silver or light rust may work if smudged, with a makeup wedge. for a blush color, if ur pale, a peach color may work. get sumthin that matches ur skin tone when u blush. i dont think u want 2 look like Dr. FRANKENFURTER!! powder will even out--sometimes--if ur skin is got different tones. i break out once in a while and light concelear with powder will sometimes hide the red. for mascara do u have long eye lashes? if not, they make extended wear (?), that gives u curls. if u go with that, id skip on the eyeshadow or use very little, to bring out ur eyes. sorry. its fun to pretend, u know? good luck. also, theres jane and wet n wild products. fish
haha...yes, no Dr. Frankenfurter would be nice. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll see what I can do Luckily my workplace isn't too conservative...so I can dabble in colors...

After years of testing I've settled on a collection of Mary Kay products and Clinique.

Hi, I used to get one of Lacome's new liquid makeups and found out, that L'oreal carries the same thing in the grocery store. It is called true match super-blendable makeup. It is about $8 in the grocerystore and walmart. I used to pay over $20 per bottle at the department store.
I like it because it is lightweight, but still gives me great coverage.
