Americans for Libraries Council has announced establishment of the Gulf Coast Libraries Renewal Fund with a lead gift of $100,000 from philanthropist Dorothy Lemelson to carry out the Lemelson-Gulf Coast Libraries Children's Book Program. Library Journal

I think that is great. I use to sell books on Amazon and have gotten away from it. I have boxes of books and magazines. I know they are rebuilding libraries and was wondering if anyone knew where I could donate these books.

There will be lots of needs for libraries during this rebuilding phase.
