Hi. I am new to this forum and I need help. I am going to teach a child to sew. I think that she is between 10-12. I need to know if there are any free sites that can get me started? I have been sewing since 1964 and hope that I do not go over the childs head with facts. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

This will give you some ideas to get started. A project should be simple enough to give a child the satisfaction of completing it. However, not so simple that the child will be bored. Even if the child would like to tackle something a little more complicated, you can go through the more difficult parts and help them complete the item.
