Yes, walking is good for you, but I must say, I think saying it is one of the best things you can do for your health to be a bit simplistic. Maybe you could say walking helps you maintain your health, but does it improve it? - only when done within your target heart rate and for an adequate amount of time (at least 25-30 minutes) 4 - 5 days per week and in conjunction with good eating habits.
