Is anyone else here signed up to participate? I'm doing a beaded lace shawl, pattern of my own design (I think!)

You can find out more at the Yarn Harlots site! Knitting Olympics

WOW, heheheehhe Knitting Olympics <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I can't participate right now, let's see I am teaching a class tomorrow, still working on my personal web sites, need to update Bellaonline Knitting and Crochet sites, Monday 1:30 meeting with School, police, commissioners, volunteers etc. about the bus stop, Tuesday appointment with Dog Pound to help make little blankets, and of course I am currently making my Granddaughter a pink frilly dress (crocheted), nope no olympics as it seems I am having my own olympics.

I'm making the Good Ole Cabled Scarf (my first cable project...I've obsessed that cables are "too hard" so I've never treid them, but they are quite easy...I did the same thing with intarsia, which I later found was a piece of cake!).

I'm blogging it, but haven't completely got the hang of the cute blog buttons yet!

Pix of the pattern are linked in my blog:

Ooh, you reminded me of a cable project we talked about once on this site, of making a scarf that was essentially one big cable. I always wanted to try it, but haven't been doing scarves much lately.

I probably don't have time to work it for the Knitting Olympics, but maybe I'll try it anyway . . .
