Time for some fun! For this game, simply post the next letter in the alphabet, and a knitted item that begins with that letter. I will start this game with the letter "A", and then you can reply with the following letter and knitted item.
"A" is for ascot, which is like a scarf.

"B" is for beret, a kind of cap.

"C" is for cozy, knit one for a teapot or french coffee press.

"E" is for ear warmers,

"F" is for fingerless gloves

"G" is for garter stitch scarves, great first projects!

"I" is for I -cord, that great stuff that makes straps and ties!

"J" is for jumpers. It's British English for what would be pullovers in the USA.

"K" is for knickers! usually knit for dolls when worn at all anymore

L is for layette (especially for babies in cool climates!)

One of my friends knitted wool diapers for her son when she lived off grid many years ago. Amazes me you can knit diapers!

I haven't seen any knitted adult ones, but baby ones (under different names) are sweet. As an adult, I wouldn't be inclined to wear one of any description. But maybe if the house got cold enough . . .
"P" is for pillow - you can knit a pillow for your couch!

I bet somebody is up to the task of posting a knitted q item!

(Not everyone would call it an afghan if it were knitted in squares.)
