It's Autumn! The time has come to spend more time indoors and more time together. Let's take a moment to prepare the nest by indulging in the
The Art of Healing .
These moments of crafting are healing, bonding, and soothing.
What chores bring you that moment presence and healing?
Baking or sweeping are number one for me. The transport me into a magical world where all the answers exist.
I have many wonderful tools for improving my baking skills and tasks. It makes my spiritual chores more of a labor of love.
My friends have suggested that I purchase a special broom to further enhance the sweeping moments.
What about you?
I enjoy doing fall chores outside. Raking leaves and cleaning up the yard is a great way to enjoy the fresh air and to be in touch with nature. The tired feeling I get after being outside doing yard work is a "good" tired. I feel peaceful and I sleep well after a day spent outside.
I agree Debbie. It's not that exhausted feeling. It's a relaxing, sleepy, "go to sleep, so I can tell you something (says nature)," kind of tired.
I emerge from that sleep, rejuvenated and alive.
Raking leaves is another chore that helps us reconnect and center.
Thanks for sharing Debbie.
