The Kane radio show has had some interesting career-related topics on the past couple of days.

This particular one a single female worker called in and said that she has been going to dinner with a married male co-worker to discuss business. She was uncomfortable because the co-worker insists on paying every time and she was wondering if it was wrong.

So would you (married or unmarried) go to dinner with a male (or female) co-worker on a frequent basis.

Is it wrong if the other person always paid the bill.

Do you think this crosses the line of a "peer" work relationship?
I do not see any problems with it and if my partner would do it I would not be jealous.
I'd keep work time separate from leisure time. We all need our free time to unwind. If out to dinner with other adults, I think each adult should pay for themselves, unless you've asked them out for a special treat.
