Was anybody else watching this avidly? I had a great time following it. It's amazing the kind of miles they put in!

Something that bothered me a lot was the way people would jump out at the bikers and stand right in front of them. These poor bikers have been biking for weeks straight. The last thing the need is to worry about hitting some bozo because the bozo didn't jump out of the way in time ...

Did you guys see that Lance Armstrong was racing in a NY race soon after finishing the Tour de France? Does he ever rest??

I never heard about any other race.... My understanding is that Lance focuses on the Tour alone...unlike Eddy, Miguel or Jan, for example.
