I got an ad in the mail to buy this cookie book. I've looked on-line and can get an older version cheaper. I was wondering if anyone has it - is it worth the money?

I own several cookbooks by this author and like them. If, however, you are one that likes a lot of pictures, you might not want to buy this book. I have read the Amazon reviews and it says that this newer book has only a few pictures. Her other books that I own have none or few pictures, but I like them because her recipes are good. One of the reviews says that if you own her other cookie books like her Cake-Mix Cookies, Brownie Bliss, Puff Pastry Perfection, and No-Bake Cookies (all of which I own), don't bother to buy this one because the recipes are duplicated.

I'm a cookbook fanatic (I own over 4,000) so I will probably buy this one, but I will wait until I can get a used one on Amazon. If I see it At Costco or Sams or some other discount place really cheap, I'll buy it sooner and let you know what I think.
