If you drink herbal tea do you drink it for a favorite taste?

Do you drink it for medicinal reasons or enhancing health reasons? And if you do you feel it helps??

Or finally do you drink herbal tea because lack of caffeine and/or just for warm drink?

I'd love to hear what you think and what you drink.
Thanks

Dear Tea drinkers,

What type of "red" tea/tisane do you drink?

In honor of the "Red Dress" (movement on women's heart issues/disease) and Valentine's Day (love) make your herbal tea red!

I love jasmine or Earl Grey. I also like the Pumpkin Rooibos from Trader Joes that's available in the Fall.

I love a nice Jasmine too and I have Earl Grey here and there.

I love anything with pumpkin in it. (P.S. and I love the Trader Joe's stores too)

Dear Tea Readers,

Does anyone use herbal tea for iced tea?

And if so what kind are you using?

Iced. Either black or green.

I was travelling through the US in 2013, and stopped for the night in a small town in Oklahoma off the Interstate 40. At breakfast, I asked what kinds of tea they carried. The answer?

"Hot. Cold. And decaf."

I love British teas - however I love Chamomile with a tad of honey at nighttime - it's relaxing.

Dear Allyson,

Chamomile is very relaxing for night time and for me a tad of honey anytime is welcome too~

Tea a ritual made relaxing because I take the time to drink it slowly unlike coffee or other drinks that are simply gulped down~

Keep drinking tea and thank you for your participation in my forum!

Dear Angie,

Hashthorn berries are not very common~ I don't know much about them can you shed some light on them? Like where are they from and as with many other herbals, do these berries carry health warnings?

Thanks hon. Those berries sound interesting!

Hawthorn Berries by Alvita. Hawthorn is a small thorny tree or shrub that produces brilliant red clusters of berries. Evidently it got its start in the Mediterranean area. I purchased the tea is the drug store, a compounding pharmacy.

Dear Angie,

Oh thank you so much for shedding some light on this I'd actually love to delve deeper into this still...perhaps a next article.

(on a side ) It is fabulous that you have a compounding pharmacy near you .

The pharmacy doesn't make the tea but the pharmacy does carry different products than CVS or Walgreens or Rite-Aid.
