Some people feel more comfortable skimming through a newspaper, others rely only on the Internet. How do you look for a job?
What is very frustrating is alot of places I go to now won't even talk to me regarding employment. They tell me to go online to their website. You never get to see anyone anymore to "promote" yourself.
I am not a fan of online resumes, but that is the way of the future it seems, so very important your resume makes that good first impression.
Hi Tina,
You're absolutely correct! Now even an attendance at a job fair can require you to complete an application online first. Gone are the days when you can drop in a business and "drop off" your resume.
In person, newspapers, online and job centers. I haven't looked in years because my depression is at it's worst. The first thing I will do is ask the person who is in charge of my file at the welfare office which also serves as a job center.
