Name calling really doesn't belittle the other person - it belittles the one doing it!

Name calling hurts. Period. I still cringe at a name I was called as a child.
I don't think the other person who called me the name felt belittled at all, but I did.
Even knowing sense, that that person calling the name had the bigger issues than I makes no difference. They must have been in pain or something to bully, but I felt it, at that time and they enjoyed doing it. I am sure if they were in their 'right mind' they would feel the pain I felt. That helps me abit too.
