YaY!!! I've been meaning to look up places to find larger sized bras, working at lane bryant I feel bad when I have to tell the woman that shes too big for our store or that she has a hard to find size like 46A, 40G etc. So Ive copied down a bunch of the website addys and wil be sure to take them to work for all the girls to recommend.
THanks Moe!

Moe, that is a great article. I really loved seeing how to accurately measure, although I haven't done it yet. I'll be gone for a few days but I will try it when I get home! (I might be surprised at what I really should be wearing!) LOL Thanks! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Great article Moe- I have alway been large breasted, I have been going to the same place forever, the little lady measures me for my bra each time, like she has never seen me before and fits me perfectly. I have never paid less than $45 for a bra but I cant buy the little cutie cheapie bras!

Dr. Letitia,
I don't think we should pay less than $45 for bras. If you think about how many hours a day we wear them and what we expect out of them. Most women pay that or more for shoes that they may only wear once in a while. Our breasts are carried around in front of us every day we should take care of them but I think they are often ignored or smushed into something that isn't right for them for the sake of whatever we are thinking at the time. I also think we should revel in our breasts more than men do but a lot of women spend too much time hating their breasts or punishing themselves because they don't look like some actor or model's breasts. (where'd that come from) Anyyyhoow. Thanks for praise and comments.

Keep in mind that this is a guideline and that with bigger sizes there is quite a variance. Not to mention, that different manufacturers may make them differently.

Based on your numbers, it looks like a 42 or 44 E or DD. Pop into your local plus size store and give those sizes a try to see what they feel like. They may even have a professional bra fitter on hand too. It's really better to have someone else measure you for accuracy.

Great article, Moe! What I hate though, is the number of plus size bras that are not made with a larger bust in mind. Not enough support, either in the cup, or straps (over the shoulders and around the body). When will manufactures realise that a DD bust needs much more support and structure than a B?????
