What are your favorite stress relief activities?
Walking is the best way for me to relax. There's also watching the Dallas Stars, listening to music, watching my favorites movies, watching my favorite shows and reading.
I forgot one that technically is number one for me and it is to look at nature, it works especially when I am there myself.

One of my stress relief actvities that I do is to listen to music. It can really soothe my frazzled nerves faster than I can exercise. :D

I love music too. Onenight I was having trouble sleeping so I turned on Strauss in my head. My brain finally quieted down.

Yeah, music is a great solution to relieve stress. For sleeping, I listen to Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5.

What music do you listen to besides Strauss, Angie? :)

I enjoy instrumental pieces. Pop arranged in the fashion of classics is always a winner.
Listening to music, reading, and walking.

I am so stressed now. I tune out stress with writing daily in my journal.
Watching funny movies is a good way to reduce stress too.
I strongly believe in meditation. Meditation trains the mind to release judgment. So many times we feel someone else is "making" us be stressed. But nobody else can make you be stressed. It is your own mind which chooses to react or not react to the world around it. For example, some people might find New York City streets to be quite stressful. Others could find those streets to be soothing and comforting. It is all about how we perceive things.

If we don't choose to change our perceptions, then we ourselves are the ones really allowing the stress to continue.
