I am curious to see what are the most loved romance novels (aside from Twilight) out there that readers would equally love to see made into movies! Mine would include Jude Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor, Karen Marie Moning's The Dark Highlander & The Spell of the Highlander, and ELizabeth Lowell's Donovan Series. If anybody else out there wants to see one of their favorite romances turned into a movie let me know! Maybe with enough votes, we could even make it happen. *Also, if there are other people out there that like these style of books and have solid recommendations...please feel free to add them. I read too fast for my own good and get impatient waiting for author releases.
None, frankly. I've seen what movie makers have done to perfectly lovely books, and it's not something I want to see happen to my favorites. I love Nora Roberts, but what Lifetime has done to some terrific books, I wouldn't wish on anyone.

'Twilight' is not something I would consider a romance novel, either; I work in a bookstore, and it is considered young adult literature there, as in every other bookstore I've gone into. Yes, there's romance in it and, like Harry Potter, not just kids are reading it, but it's still meant for younger readers. <g>

And I have to ask, do you work for a movie-maker, that you suggest 'enough votes' could get this done?

The Promise and No Greater Love by Danielle Steele. Actually I read a few other of her books (at least 3 more i think) and all could be good movies.
