In Sickness and In Health
This one is a hard one. When major illness or injury strikes, it is a big strain on the relationship, especially if it means one spouse is taking care of the other. But love is a very strong bond, and of you rely on that bond, it is possible to establish a new life after the change.
Has anyone gone through this, with either yourself or your spouse becoming ill?
I suffer from Depression and Anxiety, which can become crippling at times and even prevents me from leaving the house on some days. My husband did not sign up for this when we got married, but he takes care of me and fills in the "blanks" when I am unable to function.
Anyone else have something similar?
