When is the best time for you to write? Are you a morning person or a night owl? Does your writing muse insist on times that are inconvenient or can you fit your writing in around any distractions?

I'm normally a bit of a night owl, but I actually like to write in the morning for some reason. I hit a slump after lunch and then pick up again in the evening.

Here's this week's article.

Morning, early morning...although it's a pain in the [censored] to get myself peeled out of bed to do it on a daily basis.

LOL. I know that feeling well. Especially when it's cold and the bed is warm <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am a nightowl! I have great ideas come to me at night. I think it is because the whole house is quiet. There is always too much noise during the morning and afternoon.

I write best during the day when everyone is out of the house.

I write late into the evening or in the very early morning hours. Not so much out of choice, but because its the only time I can find total peace and quiet in the house.

I prefer when it is dark outside but when I wrote the time of day did not matter, I wrote when I felt like it or when an idea came into my mind.
