Writing in present tense instead of past tense brings an entirely different feel to the story - one of immediacy and freshness.

Which tense do you choose to write in? Have you considered other tense choices?

When I was writing it was mostly in the present tense but the last story I had in my head and never wrote was from both present and past (still have that story in my head - it would make an awesome book and i think it would be better as a movie).
