I'm just one pound away from my first weight loss goal of five pounds. The trick is to not reward myself with food, so my first reward will be a new, sturdier pedometer. My last one got washed with the laundry.

How are your goals coming AND what is your reward?

On my motivation board, I have a list of rewards for each of the first 35 pounds. I'm still working on the rest to get to my ultimate weight goal.

I'm thinking of getting a pedometer, too. Love your reminder not to reward ourselves with food.

My goal is not to focus on a number, per se, but make a lifestyle change in eating and exercise. I was going great but slipped back. Not kicking myself for it, just accepting it as part of the process.

My reward is the process itself as I'm doing my best to make it feel good every day. Buuuut...as there is nothing wrong with a tangible reward, I'll come up with a good one. Probably new clothes since I'll need them anyway. smile
