I'm new to the forum and have a question. I am the mother of the bride wedding in a hotel (no outside walking) on February 16th. I have a tea length navy chiffon dress and navy/glittery open toed very high heels. Should I wear hose or go bare legged? Thank you for any advice! Ruth

I have always considered hose as being restrictive and uncomfortable. However, they do seem more appropriate in providing a more subtle appeal to the way the dress flows around your legs. So, wearing hose for your daughter's wedding would be advisable, but as soon as the ceremony is over, take them off, cut loose and enjoy the reception.

I would agree with Darlene. It just seems more appropriate to wear pantyhose at a more formal event - then cut loose - but if you're not the conventional type person - check with your daughter (it's her day) then if she doesn't mind - enjoy!
