I am anxiously awaiting the trees to start budding and the grass to turn green. Flowers need planting, and everyone comes out of hibernation to enjoy the weather. Garage sales, festivals, fairs, hiking, camping, fishing... All activities that will soon start in the area.

What is your favorite spring activity?

I can't wait to get out in the yard and start the Spring cleanup! The crocus and early daffodils are blooming here at the base of Lake Michigan, and silver maple buds are swelling, but it has still been too cold to really get out and enjoy yard work. Maybe this week?
My favorite Spring activity? Birding! The early migrants are in but it will be a few more weeks before the big waves of songbirds begin to arrive.
