Had a great time at the conference yesterday. The speakers were wonderful and everybody had a great time learning from publishers, editors and agents. Name of the conference was Ignite the Spark! And it really did. We all went out of there so inspired to keep writing for kids, armed with new contacts and ideas. I'll write more on this later.

I was a member of SCBWI a few years ago. I have been thinking about joining again. I didn't do much with it the first time due to my mother's illness.
