If you pack a piece of luggage, usually a carry-on or duffel bag, with items you would need if you unexpectedly had to be away from home on very short notice (change of clothes, tooth-brush, etc.) and keep it in your vehicle or just always packed and ready to go in your home, it is called a bug-out bag. :-)
