NASA sent the Lunar Reconnaisance Orbiter (LRO) to the Moon to spy out sites for future manned missions. It doesn't look like they'll be sending anybody to the Moon, but LRO has documented the Apollo landing sites. Astronomy writer and space expert Ian Ridpath takes us to the Moon for a look.

Exploring the Apollo Landing Sites

What a fascinating read this Ian Ridpath article on the Apollo landing sites is Mona, and the links he includes add so much in the way of illustrations and extra information.

Really interesting and informative, even for 'doubters' probably, although am not sure how it is possible to dispute the landings took place when faced with so much evidence.
